En la obra de Isidora Villarino la ciudad tiene un lugar fundamental, así, la arquitectura y el espacio urbano son una constante que por medio del dibujo y la instalación principalmente, nos transportan a lugares comunes, sitios que hemos transitado muchas veces sin ver. De esta manera, la realidad -una que casi nunca advertimos- desde un comienzo ha sido el punto de partida de su quehacer.

    Por medio de sus trabajos, Isidora establece una relación entre el ser humano y su entorno, rescatando sensaciones e identidades; la estructura de la ciudad, una que inherentemente revela historias, huellas culturales en incesante movimiento.

    Así, elementos adyacentes a la construcción aparecen constantemente en su obra: la incidencia de la luz sobre el lugar o perspectivas insinuadas por la disposición de los elementos entablan relaciones entre lo sutil de la naturaleza y lo tosco de la construcción. Carácter que se intensifica por medio de una técnica delicada del dibujo y la tinta.

In the work of Isidora Villarino, the city has a fundamental place, thus architecture and urban space are a constant that mainly through drawing and installation transport us to common places, places that we have walked many times without seeing them. In this way, reality - one that we hardly ever notice - from the very beginning has been the starting point of her work.

    Through her works, Isidora establishes a relationship between human beings and their environment, rescuing sensations and identities; the structure of the city, one that inherently reveals stories, cultural traces in ceaseless movement.

    Thus, elements adjacent to construction constantly appear in her work: the incidence of light on the place or perspectives hinted by the arrangement of the elements establish relationships between the subtlety of nature and the roughness of the construction. This characteristic is intensified by a delicate technique of the drawing and the ink.
