MARGEN is a space for the creation, production, and exhibition of artistic projects directed by Chilean visual artists. It was founded to address the internationalization and exposure needs of independent artists in diverse artistic settings, without requiring third-party representation to gain visibility. This particular project was exhibited under the management and production of four contemporary Chilean visual artists and was subsequently submitted to MATERIAL— Latin America's most important independent contemporary art fair. The project, "Nazca Plate," was selected—under the auspices of MARGEN—to represent Chile in Mexico City in 2019.
